The project includes sulfur storage and a solid sulfur re-melting facility with a nameplate capacity of up to 300,000 metric tons annually in a first phase. The Terminal will serve as a primary Northern European import point of entry for solid sulfur sourced globally.
Upon completion the Terminal will have the ability to receive solid sulfur, store solid sulfur, melt solid sulfur and produce high-grade sulfur which will be stored in dedicated molten sulfur tanks. Logistically, the Terminal will be accessible by rail, truck and barge and will have the ability to handle, store, load and unload sea going vessels from its port location.
